LEAVING A LEGACY
THROUGH
WORD, WORSHIP & MISSION
Of Gino & Vera
After a radical conversion from atheism to Christianity in 1992, our lives were completely transformed. We committed wholeheartedly to God’s call to reach and disciple the Russian-speaking world in the aftermath of the Soviet Union’s collapse.
As the first converts at the newly planted Hillsong Church in Kyiv, Ukraine we experienced firsthand the power of faith, the pioneering work of Australian and American missionaries, and the birth of a new spiritual movement. What began as a small gathering of believers soon grew into a thriving megachurch church, where we served as full-time Worship & Creative Pastors for five years, and then as Senior Pastors or nearly two decades.
During that time, we witnessed miracles - not just in individual lives, but in the spiritual atmosphere of an entire generation. Mindsets shifted. Worship deepened. Creativity awakened. Revival took root. It was truly an epoch time — a season of awakening that marked the beginning of something much greater than we could have imagined. While we were pastoring Hillsong Churches in both Kyiv and Moscow we traveled occasionally to share what God was doing, but due to the weight of responsibility in leading large congregations, we weren’t able to visit everyone who had sown into our ministry. For years, churches around the world had invested in the spiritual harvest in Ukraine and Russia, and we knew the time would come to bring that testimony back to them.
After 22 years of full-time ministry at Hillsong Church, we entrusted the leadership of the Kyiv and Moscow congregations to capable pastors we had mentored and raised. This transition released us into a broader assignment: reaching Russian-speaking communities around the world with a special focus on the United States. We spent our first five years in the U.S. planting and pastoring a Russian-speaking church in Miami. Then, after turning 50, we sensed a shift - God was calling us to focus fully on mission. Now based in Central Florida we continue that calling through Kasevich International Ministry (KIM) —a global ministry built on three unified expressions: WORD, WORSHIP, and MISSION.
Through retreats, coaching, and spiritual mentoring, we help ministry couples and leaders rediscover connection, purpose, and health in their calling.
Through creative discipleship, multilingual worship, and Gen Z and Gen Alpha focused training, we build a foundation of worship for families, churches, and future leaders.
Through the EPOCH Project, international outreach, and leadership training, we document the past and disciple the next generation across the post-Soviet world.
