After radical conversion from atheism into Christianity in 1992 our family fully committed and devoted our life to God’s calling of reaching and serving the Russian-speaking population in post-Soviet countries. As a first convert at the newly-planted Hillsong church in Kiev, Ukraine, my wife, Vira and I experienced firsthand pioneering work of missionaries from Australia and USA who planted our church. Being full-time Worship and Creative Pastors for the first 5 years and then Senior Pastor of that same church for next almost 17 years we’ve seen a miraculous transformation in the mindsets of our congregation and our society in general. Many pastors and churches around the world kindly extended invitations for me and my wife to come and share what God did through our ministry because many of them had sown financially and wanted their churches to be encouraged by great reports of that harvest.
